About Us

Dreamweaver was founded with the idea that the battery separator market was ready for the high speed, efficient and high quality manufacturing of wet laid nonwovens. However, it wasn't long before the company realized that performance could be enhanced also.  Thus began the quest to develop both the best performing battery separator on the market, as well as the lowest cost.  But this mission could not be achieved alone, and so Dreamweaver partnered first with the Herty Foundation, where over 1000 prototypes have been made and tested, many at pilot scale.  Then, when the initial products were ready, the company partnered with Glatfelter, who is able to apply state of the art processing and quality at large production scales, giving Dreamweaver the ability to deliver over 100 million square meters per year of high quality separator.

Dreamweaver's Philosophy:

We believe in transparency within our organization, with our partners, and with our customers. We honor confidential information, but whenever possible we are as open as we can be. Our belief is that transparency both forces integrity, and inspires trust.  As Dreamweaver is more of a network of partners than an independent company, this enables our partnerships to work together smoothly.
We believe in service. We serve our customers, partners, suppliers, as well as the organization. There is no job title that is above any function. We all work together for the benefit of our customers, partners, and Dreamweaver.
We believe that relationships come first. Our world is built on our relationships, both professionally and personally.  We strive to support each person in their personal and professional lives. What is right for the individual is right for the company. We accommodate the needs of those we serve. We believe that this builds loyalty and trust not only for the company but also each other, our partners, and our suppliers.
We believe in providing true value to our customers. Dreamweaver strives to provide exceedingly high value to customers through our products, and allow them to capture value also, and pass some on to their customers. Our goal is to “change the basis of competition,” which means that we add a new parameter to how customers evaluate our type of products versus competitors.
We believe in hard work and a high standard of excellence. We expect our employees and partners to work at a level that exceeds expectations.
We believe in honesty and forgiveness. While we work hard we are very forgiving of mistakes and see them as a chance to learn and grow. Dreamweaver encourages honesty in every aspect of the business. Honesty is the foundation for trust and loyalty.
